Job description:
The Spa Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily management of the spa, ensuring excellent service for guests and supervising the team of therapists and front desk staff. This professional ensures compliance with the operational standards of the 5-star hotel, contributing to operational efficiency, stock management, financial target achievement, and guest satisfaction. Main responsibilities include:
- Supervise the daily spa operations, ensuring adherence to protocols and the quality of services provided.
- Coordinate and adjust the appointment schedule to optimize room occupancy and team productivity.
- Ensure that all spa areas (treatment rooms, changing rooms, relaxation areas, pool, and gym, when applicable) are always clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of the team (therapists, receptionists, and technicians).
- Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate shift coverage.
- Motivate and develop the team, fostering a harmonious and productive work environment.
- Ensure excellence in guest service, guaranteeing a personalized and high-standard customer experience.
- Collect and analyze guest feedback to implement continuous service improvements.
- Support the management of spa revenues and expenses, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Monitor and optimize the sales of treatments, products, and complementary services, encouraging the team to achieve commercial goals.
Requisites:
- Proven experience in spa supervision, preferably in 5-star hotels or premium establishments.
- Degree or certification in Spa Management, Wellness Therapies, Aesthetics, Physiotherapy, or related fields.
- Sales-driven mindset and experience in revenue and cost management.
- Knowledge of massage techniques, aesthetics, and spa treatments.
- Strong sensitivity to guest well-being and experience.
- Attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems efficiently.
- Proactivity and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
