BlueShift supports the management of Sublime Comporta

Currently recruiting for more than 30 positions

BlueShift – Achievers Make the Change and Sublime Comporta have just entered into an agreement for the management of Sublime Comporta, the renowned establishment on the Alentejo coastline, known for its authenticity and genuine experience.

This collaboration comes at a time when Sublime Comporta is preparing for expansion and the further development of new dining concepts launched in 2018.

BlueShift, which has been working with the establishment since March 2019, will be responsible for the operational management of the unit, in close strategic coordination with the owner, Gonçalo Pessoa. BlueShift joins Xpose, the company responsible for business development, positioning, and communication strategy for the destination and Sublime Comporta since 2015.

BlueShift’s focus will be on optimizing departments in terms of organization and continuous improvement of service quality, as well as human resources management, covering areas such as recruitment and selection, induction, team training, motivation, and organizational alignment, among others. Financial aspects will also be a priority, with intervention in areas such as planning, budgeting, management control, and financial procedures.

BlueShift Talent is also involved in the project, currently leading the recruitment and selection process for more than 30 positions in the unit, including roles such as Night Auditor, Front Office Assistant, Receptionist, Bellboy, Housekeeping, Housemaid, Waitstaff, and Cooks.

Given its strategic nature, the project is being led by Pedro Catapirra, Partner and Director of Operations at BlueShift. “Sublime Comporta is undoubtedly one of the most iconic hotel establishments in the market, and our challenge is to ensure that we continue to offer the unique experience that has contributed to its success, now in a context of greater size and operational complexity”.

For Gonçalo Pessoa, owner of Sublime, “this partnership with BlueShift naturally arises in the unit’s development process, with a greater number and variety of accommodation units and new concepts in F&B and the guest experience, requiring a more comprehensive operational structure.”
