Esmeralda Correia is the new Human Resources Director at Blueshift
Esmeralda Correia joins Blueshift as the Head of Human Resources. The new director will be responsible for overseeing various HR operations at Blueshift, including recruitment and selection, compensation policies, performance evaluation, training, and talent management, among other areas.
She will also coordinate Blueshift’s HR function and organizational development, with a focus on organizational culture, talent development, and employer branding. Additionally, she will provide support to projects in other areas of Blueshift’s business – Consulting and Investment.
Esmeralda has spent her entire career in talent development and management, working with companies such as Papelaco Telemática, Enatur, and Pestana Hotel Group. In her most recent project, where she dedicated 17 years of her career, she was responsible for managing training for over 100 hotel units worldwide, ensuring alignment between company goals and employee development. During this time, she was also recognized twice by Fórum Turismo as the Best Stakeholder in the Hospitality Education Awards.
In the last three and a half years, she joined CEGOC, where she led the creation, development, and implementation of the new strategic training area, Hospitality by CEGOC.
Esmeralda holds a degree in Sociology from Universidade Moderna, a specialization in Data Analysis from ISEG, and a postgraduate degree in Business Sciences from ISCTE.
