When we started working with Filipe Santiago and the Blueshift team, we initially expressed concern that Hello Lisbon's approach to the market differed from conventional hotel, serviced apartments, or even vacation rental models. So, implicitly, we were expecting innovative solutions in the areas of sales, marketing & communication, and revenue management, and not just more of the same. In the very first meetings, we realized there was a significant and humble effort to understand our business, and the responses provided were suitable and, consequently, innovative, albeit based on the consultants' experience and technical expertise. The results did not take long to materialize, pleasantly surprising us. We felt that we had found a partner capable of helping us grow sustainably and profitably. The sacramental approach to strategy, the human role in analysis, using algorithms as support tools rather than decision-makers, and a remarkable ability for innovation and creativity in problem-solving were key to the success of the project.
