SIC will give name to a hotel managed by BlueShift

World’s first hospitality project with this approach to the television universe. SIC and BlueShift seek a partner with a hotel asset in Lisbon.

Observing television production in a real studio located in the hotel lobby or casually encountering television stars at work or leisure are among the experiences awaiting guests and visitors of the future hotel with the SIC brand, created in partnership with BlueShift. The SIC Hotel will be the world’s first hospitality project with this approach to the television universe, where the leisure experience of a hotel intersects with the energy and glamour of television production.

As a result of a partnership between the Impresa group and the hotel management and consulting firm BlueShift, the TV Hotel concept was developed over a year by a joint working team, defining seventeen key elements that characterize the experience of this new space uniquely and impactfully.

The project promoters are now entering the phase of seeking a third partner who can provide a hotel asset in Lisbon for the implementation of the concept. Mandatory requirements include a good location, a minimum capacity of 100 rooms, and a wide variety of common areas that can be converted into dining, bar, and leisure spaces, all maintaining quality and always under the theme of television and the SIC universe.

The business model envisions BlueShift managing the hotel, leveraging its strong experience in hotel management and the development of innovative concepts within the principles of the “Blue Ocean Strategy,” which focuses on disruption and innovation as a means of differentiation in the market and achieving superior business profitability.
