Villas d’Água Beachfront Resort opens in July 2024
The new resort aims to establish itself as a lifestyle reference in the Albufeira region.
Blueshift announces the opening of the new Villas d’Água Beachfront Resort on July 15th.
Located in Olhos d’Água, Algarve, the new resort boasts an exceptional beachfront location with stunning views of the ocean and the surrounding protected nature. Rated as a 4-star resort, Villas d’Água Beachfront Resort will initially offer a total of 29 one- and two-bedroom units out of the 52 that make up the complex.
The new resort targets the lifestyle market, catering to couples, families, and groups of friends. In addition to the attractions associated with its exceptional location, it will offer a unique dining and bar experience in the region, featuring disitinctive concepts that will take advantage of the two large terraces with expansive views of nature and the sea that dominate the two floors of the clubhouse. The goal is to attract not only resort guests but also visitors from the surrounding areas seeking a lively and cosmopolitan environment, particularly those drawn to the so-called “golden triangle” between Vilamoura and Quinta do Lago.
The resort is the result of a major renovation of the Villas d’Água tourist village, recently acquired by Vida Capital, a hotel investment fund whose mission is to acquire undervalued assets, companies, businesses, and tourist operations to invest in their revitalization. The total investment in the resort’s redevelopment amounts to approximately 7 million euros and includes the complete refurbishment of all resort areas, including all the rental pool apartments, the clubhouse with common areas such as the reception, lounge, bar, and restaurant, as well as the pool and gardens.
The renovation will occur in two phases: in July 2024, the resort will reopen with the renovated apartments, new garden areas, pools, and reception, while the launch of new food and beverage outlets is scheduled for 2025.

The resort will be operated by Blueshift.
