António Ferreira appointed as the new Hotel Manager of Villas d’Água Beachfront
The professional will be responsible for executing the resort’s development plan
António Ferreira has just taken on the role of Hotel Manager at Villas d’Água Beachfront, located in Olhos d’Água, Algarve.
He will oversee the implementation of the resort’s development plan. After the opening in in July 2024, Villas d’Água will introduce new features in 2025 to enhance the guest experience. These upgrades include a redesigned entrance, a new reception area, a lobby bar, and two restaurants offering breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding nature, scheduled to open in April. A new health club will follow in May, featuring a gym, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, double massage room, and an outdoor panoramic wellness cabana.
António will also manage relationships with the 52 unit owners, consisting of one- and two-bedroom accommodations.
Previously, António served as Rooms Division Manager at Palácio do Governador in Belém, where he played a key role in repositioning the hotel and integrating it into the SLH (Small Luxury Hotels) collection. He was also Front Office Manager at Sublime Comporta and Sublime Lisboa, where he joined the opening team of the latter.
He has also held positions at renowned hotels such as TRYP by Wyndham Lisbon, Hotel Nempanzu in Angola, Grande Real Villa Itália, and Hotel Quinta da Marinha.
A graduate of the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hospitality in 1999, António brings extensive expertise to his new role.
